Toshiba computer a200?

My crappy Toshiba satllite a200 isnt working very well anymore... I can turn it on it loads the toshiba page then goes to a blank page im lost on what to do I have tried removing the battery and holding the power botton for 30 seconds but still the same thing when I try and get it to start up again.. It was working prefectly fine the night before I went to bed for maybe 3 hours opened for homework and thats what I got, I have never dropped it I check for virus on a daily bases so I have no idea what it could be, I would take it to a laptop techie but no money for that. can anyone please help me im at a loss and I need my baby back for school
